WEATHER CONDITIONS
 High 12 °C   Low -5 °C

CHALLENGE
1.   Need rock removed for backyard pool.
2.  Very strong and difficult granite.
3.  Traditional hand held breakers ineffective against stubborn hard granite.
4.  No access to bring in heavy equipment.
5.  Blasting not an option due to proximity to neighbours.
6.  Ground water

SOLUTION
1.  Dexpan non-explosive demolition grout
2.  Plastic sleeves to prevent ground water affecting Dexpan filled holes.
3.  Drill.  Mix.  Pour Dexpan.
4. Allow additional time for Dexpan expansive grout to work given lower temperatures (waiting 2-3 days allowed for more breaking and wider cracks)
